Why me
I am not an agency. That is the point.
I am Andrew. I run Celestial Celebrations, a DJ and photo booth company here in St. Louis, and for years I grew on word of mouth alone.
Eventually that stopped being enough. So I went looking for ways to stand out that did not depend on who happened to mention me at a wedding, and the first thing I took on was my own website.
Rebuilding it taught me more than I expected. Most of what holds a small vendor's site back is not the design at all — it is technical, unglamorous, and almost entirely fixable. Titles that never say what town you work in. Photographs a search engine cannot read. A homepage that takes ten seconds to load on a phone at a venue with one bar of signal.
Talking to other vendors at events, I kept hearing the same thing: everyone knows their site could be doing more, and nobody wants an agency retainer to find out how. So I started doing it for them.
There is no team here and no account manager. I do the work, which is most of the reason it costs what it costs — and it means the person who looks at your site is the person who answers the phone.
